Tell me a story

not that hard to kill someone

harder to kill yourself

just pretend they're a book

and push them off the shelf

if you haven't read 

many books at all

it shouldn't hurt much 

to see them fall

but if you know a

few stories about others

you'll know that they're 

your sisters and brothers

you're connected to everyone

your family is bigger

it will hurt you too 

if you pull that trigger

so hold that book gently

while you look at the cover

and imagine the story

that you could discover
